What does this involve?
This online video and guide will help to explain the process of becoming ‘Investor Ready’. Investor readiness is the process of getting your business to the point where equity investors are willing to invest in your business.
You may have thought about debt funding to start or grow your business. However, you might find that banks won’t lend to you because you’re not yet profitable or you may not have a long enough trading history. Even if you have received some grant funding, that money can only take you so far.
Ideally, you’ll be at a stage where you're looking for more funding and may want to bring someone on board with expertise as an investor. Equity investment can be a way for your business to achieve these goals.
The preparation process explained in this guide is also helpful if you are thinking about raising debt or applying for a grant.
